Brought my picky husband here, and even he loved it. Casual, traditional diner with many homestyle selections and a neighborhood-local-type feel. We were greeted with a friendly smile and told to sit anywhere. There are four big rooms inside; it is much bigger than it appears. Our coffee was poured as soon as we sat down and kept hot and full throughout our visit. Last time I went, the food arrived within minutes, so this time, I timed how long it took from placing our order until it arrived. It took just under eight minutes at the height of the morning rush on a Saturday. The food arrived hot and fresh - biscuits tasted homemade with a good gravy consistency. We both had omelets - chili cheese and ABC - Avocado, Bacon, and Cheese - and both were generously sized and delicious. Hash browns were plentiful and perfectly crispy. I highly recommend Riviera Family Restaurant.

The food is as seasoned perfectly! The coffee and tea was hot and delicious as was the meal! It has a nice nostalgic feel. Just an all around great experience! When I come to Southern California I will be back!!!

Out of all the restaurants I've eaten breakfast at in almost 10,000 miles, hands down, this has been the best by far. Thanks Mrs. Dee, owner for the past 25 years along with her husband that passed about a decade ago. Our waitress Kerrie had an especially sharp wit and very good humor keeping up with me in retort for nearly every quip. Super great staff and a special shout out to Debbie too 👍 thanks yall :)

Great food for a great price. Staff was attentive and the restaurant is in a good location. Not much on the menu marking what was allergy sensitive/vegan/etc. I had the hashbrowns with bacon and eggs. No note on the menu about a Gluten-Free option for bread.

Feels like a diner off Route 66. Local vibes and good, down to earth people. Seemed like they had a lot of regulars. Servers were extremely friendly and introduced the whole staff to me. Asked me my name and treated me like a regular on my very first visit. Will definitely be back!

I have lived down Mission Blvd. in Glen Avon for the past 35 yrs. and passing by I stopped for breakfast. This is one of the best places to eat in a comfortable family atmosphere. This is like eating at Grandma's kitchen. Well recommended and going forward I just became another customer of this great place. Your coffee cup will never go empty for sure without asking! Great service 🙏

Been coming here for a few years now as an alternative to Flabob Cafe. The food is good and the prices fair. The dining areas are clean. The breakfasts are fresh and made well. I've had a few sandwiches and one dinner entree: I have yet to be disappointed. The service is very friendly and fast. They are busy but there is plenty of tables to accommodate a decent amount of people, with ample parking.
