This is a gem! The food was absolutely next level amazing. The quality of the ingredients is undeniably top notch and locally sourced. This is a family owned business. We talked to Robert, the owner on the phone to make our reservation. Our server was the son of the owner as well as Tamara. I know they treat staff well because Jose told us he’s been there for 34 years. Must be a great family. I the hanger steak and it was potentially the best steak I’ve ever had. Everything was delightfully delicious in every way. Sitting behind us was Al Rocker and Hoda Kotb, which was a nice surprise, but clearly the rich and famous enjoy this place as well.

We threw a party for 50+ people on the heated patio. It was a wonderful event. The owner and staff could not have been nicer and more professional. The food was very tasty. It was a perfect venue for our event!

I would give it 5++ stars if I could. I have been here many times this year also and dozens of times over the last few years. The food is AMAZING! No one is ever disappointed with the food. Unlike other fine dining/steakhouses they remember the vegetarians! Always multiple Vegan/vegetarian options, The staff is knowledgeable. Service is impeccable. Dinner here is more than just great food, it is an experience! I love that is is family owned and operated. I love their commitment to sustainability and using locally grown food. I promise you will not be disappointed. This Review is not solicited nor sponsored.

I had a wonderful dinner at Bistro 45 on Saturday. Following a starter of Little Gems salad I enjoyed the rack of lamb. The lamb was perfectly cooked and deliciously flavorful, nicely complemented by a colorful medley of vegetables and accompanied by a fine glass of Burgundy. For desert I had the extremely decadent Chocolate Soup and a Chamomile tea. Bistro 45 is notable not just for its fine food and excellent wines, but also due to the quality of service, comfort and friendliness. The restaurant is a credit to Robert, Avery and the excellent staff. My wife and I will be back soon.

I treasure the moments dining at Bistro 45. We have been honored to celebrate 3 birthdays and Christmas Eve over the past 2 months; every time we entered Bistro we were gifted with magnificent human beings! Kindness, joy, and deliciousness from the first greeting to last berry on my dessert. Robert and Debra greeting you when you arrive, Matie ever so gentle and wonderful as your waiter, Chef James in the kitchen stirring, baking create pure artistic delights arranged on your plate a feast for all your senses! Stepping into Bistro is the best experience, it is always an adventure we hold dear to our hearts. Thank you, Robert and Company for making our dining moments sparkle with a peaceful energy. Hope to be back soon. Stay safe and know we are grateful for being a corner stone in Pasadena. Toodles, Janie

Yes! Friends, if you want a truly elevated fine dining experience, this is the spot! The food is flavorful, elevated, unforgettable! The service had us feeling actually relaxed and cared for. The atmosphere is perfect with a live keyboard player soflty enhancing our mood. Besides all that, the price is VERY reasonable and put other pricier spots to shame! We both got steak, mine was seerved in a red wine reduction (YUM) and my sister's was in a bone broth reduction. The pesto Ceasars salad was TO. DIE. FOR. And the deserts and coffee were some of the best ever. All house made items at this place. And the bill was on $200 for started, two complete entre's and two deserts plus bottled water and lemonade! Needless to say after the exemplary service we tipped 25%. I highly recommend treating yourself to this luxurious dining experience.

Food is good, sat outside in the courtyard. Was very nice. Unfortunately after we got seated we didn't get a server for about 15 minutes. But after that there was good service. One thing that I observe in a well trained restaurant is that they always make sure to pour your wine throughout your dining. And at our table, this was done . We truly enjoyed our evening out at Bistro 45.

Average $90 per person. The food wasn't that great except for the wine & the friendly waiters. I ordered Seared Hudson Valley Magret Duck Breast. It was a mistake the duck meat tasted like from the freezer storage plus they added sweet blackberry jam was too sweet. If you have a chance to go to the French restaurant in Trocadéro Café Kléber try their Magret de canard Duck breast, c'est magnifique!
