Highly recommend for birthdays! I took my mom here, wanting something out of the ordinary to celebrate her special day, and we were more than impressed. Our amazing chef put on a show that made our night. All the cooks are extremely talented and passionate about their craft, not to mention friendly and charismatic. Their fun hibachi tricks (the volcano, food tosses, etc.) really elevate the experience and bring out fun and excitement from the customers. The chicken and steak combo is a little less than 30 dollars, and comes with miso soup, vegetables, salad, fried or steamed rice, and fried chicken and steak. It’s very fairly priced for the customization you get, (doneness, seasoning adjustment) and the expertise of the chef. The other combos, with scallops, shrimp, and lobster are a bit pricier, but equally delicious. The owner is usually there, and he is so kind and funny, interacting and checking in with the customers. You can tell this restaurant is his baby. All in all, we had the best day. We will definitely be returning, and I recommend for locals who have been looking for a unique place to try out 😼

My family and I went for my birthday.... it was a fun experience for the grandkids. The owner of the place is really nice he comes around and says hello. The show is fun and the food is okay. The steak was pretty hard to eat, there was a lot of gristle in it and the chicken was overcooked. The price for steak and chicken was right around $25 it's an okay price I think you're paying mainly for the show

The cook was entertaining and considerate of the needs of the children and didn't do the fire more than once. He asked us each how we wanted our steak and we all said medium but they all ended up closer to well done. The staff was nice and they brought dessert out for my grandsons birthday to celebrate which was really sweet.

The cook seemed unenthusiastic and didn't engage with us much, which made the atmosphere feel awkward. The food, sadly, was overcooked, and the cook appeared to be rushing through the preparation. What was even more concerning was when our waitress mentioned that this wasn't the first complaint about the cook's behavior and food quality. As a customer, it's disappointing to hear that these issues haven't been addressed. While we appreciated the waitress's attentiveness, the overall experience was a letdown, especially considering we came specifically for the performance. Hopefully, Tokyo Steak will take steps to improve their cooking and customer service.

So I came here to celebrate my man birthday. A friend of mine recommend. This place reminded me of a lower scale of Benihanas. It was clean however it was really hot. We waited a long time for our cook. We almost got up and left. Our cook was great but our waitress sucked. They can use a few upgrades inside the building. Our 🍶💣 were great but the drinks we ordered from the bar were watered down and not good.

"Plan a head") PLAN 1 FULL HOUR+ for dinner as it also has the show & you will have to wait a little longer if you don't have a full table group (need 8-10 ppl) Great for anniversary or birthday dinners 😊. (Best shows are those with black chef hats for they have been there the longest so be please be patient with the red hat new guys 😅 they will get better the nicer you are 😉) Have been coming from years & always fun & great service. Drinks are good especially for light weights like me 😆. Yes it will be "expensive" but you are getting a show with your dinner so think of it as a special event as it is not your common every day dinner... I truly hope you will try them out as I'm going to miss them and their fun team. (Moving out of state)
