The views from this restaurant are gorgeous. You can see Disneyland fireworks from the windows. It is nicely themed inside. They have an open salad and soup bar with chilled serving pans. The food was decently cooked and you get A LOT on your plate. It makes for a nice date night spot, but don't expect amazing food. You come for the great views and setting. Our server was exceptionally nice.

Nestled in the heart of Orange County, Orange Hills Restaurant is a gem in the hills that offers a unique dining experience that's hard to beat. The moment you step inside, you're transported to a bygone era with its charming old prospector mining theme. The decor is filled with rustic charm, complete with vintage mining equipment and artifacts. It's a delightful setting that adds to the overall ambiance. One of the highlights of dining at Orange Hills is the breathtaking panoramic view of Orange County from the hilltop. On a clear day, you can see as far as the ocean. It's a stunning backdrop that makes for a truly memorable meal. The service at Orange Hills is impeccable. The staff is friendly, attentive, and always ready to accommodate your needs. They make you feel like a valued guest from the moment you arrive. When it comes to the food, Orange Hills doesn't disappoint. The portions are generous, and the quality is consistently high. The prime rib is a standout dish, cooked to perfection and served with a variety of sides. The salad bar is another favorite, offering a wide selection of fresh greens, vegetables, and toppings. If you're looking for a restaurant that offers delicious food, a unique atmosphere, and stunning views, Orange Hills Restaurant is a must-visit. It's a hidden gem that's sure to impress.

Honestly, you can lie to yourself and say how wonderful it is and what an amazing server and blah blah but to be honest, twinkling lights aside , the food was under-seasoned. Seating is very tight. If you’re going for a drink with a great ambience and view awesome. If you’re goin as a celebratory occasion where the taste of the food is a memorable factor sit this one out. The cheapest plate is $50 and the desert is another $15 ( including a soft drink ). Theres better places to be honest. Comments might eat me up but hell, Cheesecake Factory has a better steak. In my case the crab topping was more flavorful and seasoned than the steak.

Great service. Fantastic view. Neat place. Careful going up and down the mountain fmwhen you park and leave. Very beautiful place. Has this old run down, yet new underground feel. Definitely recommend. Food was delicious, although I don't know about the applesauce on the pork chop. Drinks were delicious. Recommend to try at least once for the experience up top. They also have a brunch if you're into that.

My wife and I went back here to Celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary where we had our Wedding reception. It was so awesome because another couple were there doing just what we did 16 years Prior. I Recommend to anyone planning a Wedding party to book it here.

Great food and great service. The Ambiance based on the view is amazing. The location is great easy to get to from Imperial Highway or even the 241. I recommend the prime rib dinner and the salad bar. The drinks are strong enough try to get the tables on the outside as they are heated. Charming decor pays tribute to California's gold mining legacy. A perfect date location. The cheese bread is a rich treat, very delicious. Try to make reservations as they fill up with special events.

Decided to take my wife here for date night, We walked down the steps and we were greeted right away by the host. She quickly sat us at our table after I advised her we had reservations. We both ordered the baby back ribs and a few sides. Also had a salad from the salad bar. My wife really liked the options at the salad bar. The waitress was very attentive and gave excellent service. Everyone here was very friendly, I really enjoyed the ribs. I made reservations right before sunset. The shades were closed but as the sunset they opened the shades and it really made for a romantic dinner with my wife. Everyone from the host to the waitress all long with the valet guys were great, wife and I had a great experience here.

When you drive up and walk into this restaurant, it feels like big thunder mountain. Excellent drink service with a full bar. The rib eye, chicken and duroc ribs were great. With every entree you get access to the soup and salad bar: there was chili, clam chowder and French onion soup. Gary, our server, provided great suggestions; dip your cheese bread in the sautéed mushroom sauce! I look forward to my family's next visit.
