Market Broiler Ontario

I’ve always wanted to try this restaurant but kept forgetting it was right here outside Ontario Mills. After some shopping, my husband and I were heading home, looking for a place to eat. As we walked past the AMC parking lot, I noticed a long line for the comedy club and then spotted the restaurant. I immediately told my husband, “Let’s eat here!” I’m so glad we did! Even without reservations, we were seated quickly. Our server, Mike, was fantastic, super friendly and attentive throughout our meal. The food was absolutely delicious. My husband ordered the jambalaya, and I had the swordfish, which was the best I’ve had anywhere in the area! The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus. We’re definitely coming back!

The staff was friendly and efficient. It was cold and rainy so I had the clam chowder. It was chunky, creamy and had enough clams. It was served with sourdough bread that was crusty on the outside and soft in the middle, perfect for dipping in the soup. Decent selection of draft beers but lots of fun cocktails. They also had a small market where you can buy fresh fish and shellfish.

The dining room is showing its age, but the service was great. The food was really good too. We got raw and grilled oysters. The grilled oysters were perfect! Wifey had the Lobster Ravioli, and I had the Fish Tacos. The tacos had a good balance of fish, produce, and a sauce that I really liked. My wife liked the Raviolis.

The place is large but we'll designed so it feels comfortable. There are tables inside that main hall, sitting by the bar and glass wall patio. Service is quick and courteous. Drink quality is good, better than BJs by a long shot for example. Food is fine but less expensive dishes are not so good. Halibut and lobster are very nice though. Deserts are very nicely done as well.

Decided to try the Seasonal Halibut this was an excellent choice. The dish displayed a creative combination of stacked delicious food. The Halibut was seared well. The Fisherman’s stew you need to have a big appetite when ordering this dish. Plenty of seafood all the tools you need to remove the meats from the shells.the stew is seasoned and inviting. 👍🏼👍🏼

We had a great time. Bread was warm, the butter melted on top, the oyster appetizer in happy hour was amazing & they were huge! We had the build your own surf and turf and we loved it! Servers were helpful, and steady check ins. We appreciate the Manager Heriberto who came and checked on us as well, he made a great effort to make us feel welcome and taken care of, so thank you! The food was amazing the service was phenomenal and the servers and GM were so friendly and quick! My best friend and I came out here from Vegas and they did not disappoint at all. Thank you Luis and Heriberto!
