This is an amazing place. The Owner is Amazing. Food Chef's kiss. Sometimes what you want isn't available so you should be able to order what you want when you make reservations. The energy is cool, however, This establishment can be very upscale with the food and the owner's vision. I will be back, simply cause the food and service and the owner are on point.

So, I went here to celebrate my birthday and I was totally disappointed. I chose this steakhouse and everything but the steak was good. I asked the waitress for another cocktail and she took my glass that I wasn’t even finished drinking! These people served me a massive steak that was over I mean overly cooked!!!!!!! I asked for medium and what I received was a burnt piece of leather. The asparagus was so burnt it was ridiculous. The server asked if she could accommodate me and it was a huge NO for me. I wanted to love this place ! It was over hyped and over priced! Tried supporting a black owned establishment and No. the whole vibe is pretentious, staff comes of fake, looks good from the outside but it is not all that from the inside. From the seating to the food. I wish I had more photos to show

Pretty good experience overall. The waiting area was very nice and clean. Very simple and elegant interior. Was seated at a table within a reasonable time, there was major wait at all. Had reservations. The fried deviled eggs were a staple and highlight of the night for me. The crack wings were good; I didn't feel addicted though lol The portion sizes were fair and worth the price. the crab pasta was delicious; it was seasoned very well and so creamy. Reheated it for dinner the next night and it was still good! The oil had separated a bit. Our waiter Matt and the whole staff was great! The peanut butter biscoff cheesecake was good. music was at a reasonable and enjoyable level. The only thing that was disappointing was the lamb; it was overcooked. The drinks were fairly good.

Upscale lounge vibes so to speak. However, many people were dressed relatively casual. The food 😍. Hands down one of the best meals I’ve had. And I only needed one drink to get me to my sweet spot. All the servers were professional and attractive. I always push the limits of a server to see how far beyond they are willing to go, and the tip was well earned. Note: I took some an order to go to!

Let me tell you when Lamar asked to place my napkin on my lap I was already side eyeing like they’re trying to look good, but let’s see. Lamar was very attentive and had suggestions when asked for them and made us feel as if he had all the time in the world for us when we could clearly see he had other tables. Sarah (I read her name tag) I bothered for napkins, bags etc. every time she walked by but she NEVER made me feel as if I was a bother. So in short I was impressed by the service. Now on to the food. We ordered the flight of wings, oxtail Rasta pasta, rack of lamb, broccolini and Brussel sprouts. Everything was a 10 out of 10. The drinks I was actually able to taste the alcohol and was tipsy after the first one. I’m no quitter though so I ordered the strawberry drop and passion (something) 13th. Both amazing! Everything was great but what topped the night for me was when we, me and my female cousin got ready to leave the gentlemen that seated us came out and caught us to walk us the two blocks to our car. I love a restaurant that is attentive while patronizing than and when you leave they still look out. That stood out to me more than anything. We had and absolutely AMAZING experience there. The hospitality was unmatched and the food was impeccably delicious. The deviled eggs are a must have. Surf and turf Mac and cheese was A1. And the steaks. Sheesh! Can’t wait to visit again. Thank you guys for making my baby’s birthday one for the books!

Food was delicious, customer service, aesthetics, experience was EXCEPTIONAL. This restaurant is much needed in the Bay Area …. Beautiful establishment. it truly goes against everything they say negative regarding our eateries. And the waiter Mat, now sir you made the experience very attentive, honest and professional. Fried devil eggs were delicious! Parking was easy and my car was fine when I returned. Will be back !

Nothing but good vibes here! Whether it's a quick bite or a romantic evening you can't go wrong. Full bar, great customer service and the food is AMAZING 10/10 This is a win for Oakland shout out Chef Clea!
