Benihibachi food truck

I placed a delivery order on UberEats. 50 minutes later, it still said that the order was being prepared. I tried to call the store at the number listed on Google but it said it’s not able to receive calls. Then I switched my order to pickup, and another 15 mins later it still said it was being prepared. In their UberEats instructions it says to call another number and that they would bring out the order once I arrive. I called that new number and the guy who answered was extremely rude. He said that their location only accepts pick ups from Uber Drivers. I told the person that they offered pick up option on UberEats so I selected that but he dismissed me and said that “it doesn’t work like that” and that I just have to wait. I then tried cancelling my order but it said that the merchant was finishing my order and that I would be fully charged if I cancel it. I then contacted Uber support and they contacted the merchant who told them that the order was not ready and that the estimated time would be another 40 mins. They finally cancelled the order for me but I just wasted 1.5 hours waiting for the food. Extremely bad experience with the owner or merchant who I spoke with on the phone, and for them having inaccurate and deceiving information on UberEats. Will never order here again.

I paid 38 Dollars and some change for the smallest piece of salmon I've never seen. This will definitely be the last time I go to them. I rather go to Yummi Yummi Hibachi at least they give you your monies worth

surprised — maybe it’s just one of those things you don’t get delivered but it’s like leftover mall hibachi food. the prices & entree items are cribbed from Benihana, but the food was mid & maybe the dine-in portions are larger but for Uber eats the takeout container was like a little 16oz to-go tray with the bottom covered but not like full.

Got the NY steak with fried rice / veggies! Was pretty good and enjoyed the food. Good service at the time it was around 8:30pm on a weekday. Wait time was 15-20 mins and appreciated the large portions. It's right next to the 19th st Oakland BART station so it's convenient if you need food nearby

The food is not an issue but check your receipt because they add a few extra dollars to each check. I came with 2 other people and all of us had a few dollars extra added on them. One time is mistake 3 times is a policy. The food also takes forever because they are more worried about positing your food on ig than serving it. 30 mins for a food truck when there was no line ahead of us.

I do not recommend eating here. Food was alright but they did not add any shrimp to my shrimp fried rice which I paid for. I called and the guy told me they'd get me next time. Next time rolls around and they didn't honor their past mistake. 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

On a scale of 1-10 I’d give the food a 5 and a half. It wasn’t what I was expecting for $114 for 2 plates of lobster, filet mignon and shrimp with chicken fried rice. Everything tasted the same very buttery, I wouldn’t buy again.
