I hadn’t been to Outback in over 10 years and my first visit back went very well. The service was good, the food tasted great and I enjoyed my visit. A week later, I decided to go back. However, this visit was a huge disappointment. When I walk in, there wasn’t a host/hostess there to greet and get me a table. After several minutes of standing there, finally from the bar area, someone told me to grab a seat in the bar/lounge area. So I found a table and sat down. I saw a waitress come in and finish up taking care of a couple ready to leave and I heard her apologize for the wait as she was working 2 large parties that were seated elsewhere. One was a party of 20. She finished up with them and walked away. I never saw her again and after 25+ minutes of waiting and not even being acknowledged, the guy from the bar asked if the waitress had helped me. I said no and he apologized and told me 2 people called out sick and that there were 2 large parties that the waitress, working my area as well, was busy with. I understand those things happen. He then took my order and brought me my drink. Eventually someone brought out bread for me and it was terrible. The bottom was hot and soft, the top was cold and rock hard. At that point I’d had enough and pointed it out to the guy working the bar and told him to cancel my order and left in disgust. It’s hard to believe in a week that things were polar opposites of each other. I understand why I hadn’t eaten there in over 10 years. They were more concerned with getting the big tip from the large parties than taking care of a party of one. I will not be dining there again and they made it an easy choice to have a steak at the Texas Roadhouse from now on. We talked about things and were able to understand what was going on at my last visit. So my current visit was much better. The staff took good care of me, the food was great and I was able to just relax and enjoy my dinner. I feel much better about eating here now and I will return.

Steak was dry, not enough sides to pick from, no gravy for mashed potatoes, waitress was inpatient, not informed about menu enough. Her attitude is the reason they lost customers. Don't go here and waste your money. Texas Roadhouse is Sooooo much better and their customer service is unmatched.

Omg Dylan is a lifesaver and very knowledgeable if it was up to me I would make him part owner of the establishment! He’s an amazing server and changed my perspective on life as I know it. What an incredible young man god bless.

The food was cooked perfectly, and the flavor was on point. The service could have been better, asked for more sauce for my blooming onion, and never got it. Bread and butter were not brought until asked for. Overall, it was a good experience.

Had a great dinner here, we had the blooming onion and two items off the weekday 4pm-6pm menu where items are about $13, which is a few bucks saved off regular price. We had the 6oz sirloin +2 sides and the Cobb salad with grilled chicken and they were both made well and worth the sale price at the very least. The only thing I would say is be aware of just how small a 6oz piece of steak is

Outback is still a solid steakhouse in the area. Service is good food is good. Not our first choice most times but still a nice option. It’s not as lively as it used to be but this is good if you want to have a peaceful dinner and some casual conversation. Large bar and plenty of booth seating

Food was delicious. The complimentary bread and butter is so good. We ordered the bone in Rib-eye plate, Bloomin Fried Chicken plate and the Chicken on the barbie plate. All we extremely delicious and juicy. Definitely a a favorite go to spot. Service is hit and miss you have good waiters and some amazing ones. Environment is kid friendly and the kids fudge sundae is soooo good! If you haven't tried this place out you can't go wrong with any of these options.

We got there about 3:30 in the afternoon cold windy day in Modesto. We were greeted by a lovely young waitress, Hannah. She was just wonderful. We ordered the lobster, filet mignon, potato and vegetables. Initially things weren’t quite right is they may have mixed our order with another order so we talked to Hannah and she brought her manager in to talk with us, Elliot Elliot went back with our order and brought back and “hooked us up”with fresh everything. Everything was cooked perfectly. everything was just right, what a great team effort and a spectacular finish. They may have missed the mark the first time up, but finished with flying colors . it was probably just a confusion on whose plates were who’s with another table … but second chance “knocked it out of the park !” Hannah‘s a lovely young lady and did an excellent job at what she does serving us, and Elliot as a manager, he didn’t even blink, as he stepped right up and took good care of us. We had not been to Outback Steakhouse in 20 years…. Probably because it’s always so busy when we drive by around dinner time… I can see why. We’re looking to go back again real soon. That’s why I gave it five stars they earned it and they delivered thank you. God bless you.
