Customer Review Summary
The reviews for Black Angus Steakhouse reflect a mix of experiences. Most customers enjoyed the food, particularly the steak options like the Ribeye and New York Strip, and appreciated the dinner deals which offered good value for money. There were positive notes about specific appetizers like the wedge salad and cheesy trio. However, many guests experienced issues with service, mentioning slow drink and bread arrivals, distracted waitstaff, and the need for improved upkeep of the restaurant's facilities. The decor was described as outdated, affecting the overall ambiance. Customers also noted a quieter environment during visits, but some reported dissatisfaction with specific dishes, particularly the Mac & cheese. Despite some good experiences, several diners expressed they would not return due to service and food quality concerns. Overall, while there are highlights in the menu and value, service inconsistencies and maintenance issues detracted from the dining experience.

Came on a Friday with a reservation for 3 at 7:45pm. Arrived at 7:30 and were seated within 5 minutes. The table bread and our drinks took a while before they arrived. Had the meal for 2, and it was a pretty good deal. For appetizers, definitely recommend the wedge salad and spinach and artichoke dip. Wife ordered the Ribeye with Mac&cheese and green beans. I'm surprised that the green beans are just as expensive as the restaurant of the sides. I had the New York Strip with baked potato. Ribeye was definitely the better choice. My daughter loved the salmon and mashed potatoes. It can get a bit busy in the parking and dinning room. There's was a fly bugging us and place needs a bit of a face-lift.

It been years since I been to a Black Angus so that's why I decided to take my wife here last night to celebrate our 6 years anniversary. We basically ate at all the restaurants in Burbank beside this one so I wanted to change things up. I made reservations off OpenTable along with putting we were celebrating our anniversary and was willing to give this restaurant a try since the last time we went to the Northridge location (6 years ago), it wasn't a good experience. I found parking easily on a Thursday night and the moment you walk in, you can tell this place is outdated or not modernized. We got seated near the bar and the environment was just more calm especially with the music. Our waitress came and took our drinks order first. I got a regular Pepsi and at the Northridge location they kept overfilling my drink so it would spill on the table, this location was the exact same issue. We took advantage of the happy hour so I ordered the cheesy trio. They give regular bread as well which we thought was good, the cheesy trio is good when you eat it hot. My wife ordered her grillled salmon with Mac & cheese and broccoli. I got the 12oz ribeye at medium with fries and Mac & cheese. It didn't take our food to come out and I thought my ribeye looked more burnt than cooked at medium. I was right because I mostly taked the burnt flavor on my steak but it was tender and not that juicy. You even see all the burnt on my plate after eating it so it was not good. My fries was just okay and I did not like the Mac & cheese here. My wife thought her Salmon was on the drier side and didn't like the Mac & cheese either. The bathroom here also need some remodeling because it's not in the best of shape. Overall we're not planning on coming back to this Black Angus again. The crowd here seems the be on the older people group since we barely saw any young adults. We went somewhere else to get dessert since our experience wasn't good.

Food was good. We got the dinner for 2 deal that comes with 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, 4 sides, and dessert. New York strip delicious. Mac and cheese, mashed potatoes, veggies did not disappoint. Waiter was a little distracted and service could use improvement. Took forever for the waters and I had to ask for the bread. Not the first time this has happened so slightly disappointed in that.

When I went on 9/7, it was empty but also real quiet and I liked it. Our server was nice and made sure we were good! We celebrated a birthday here and they had a small cowbell with balloons on the table and had a card! It was really sweet of them. I ordered a Steakhouse Bacon Cheeseburger with fries and they were good. The drink, Mango Rasberry was also really good!

The hostess was a little dry and not very welcoming, but our server was great 👍 We chose to get a dinner for 1 and a dinner for 2. Both were great value , tasty and plentiful Our server Aliyah was awesome 👌

We had a great meal while here on holiday from Australia. I wanted a good steak and you didn't disappoint. Once we did a Google translate on the cuts, I ordered a rib eye which translates to a scotch fillet back home.

Really good and juicy steak. Had the feast for 2 people for 69 dollars, worth the money. Fast service. Nice atmosphere, not loud. Booth are high enough and you don't see other diners which makes the experience more private if you're into that.

Fantastic meal, very busy as Thanksgiving and only reservations on this day. Booked online for 14 mins after arriving and seated 10 mins after that.
