Sizzler - Newly Remodeled!

The food was horrible the only thing I liked was the shrimp and steak the rice tasted like it was made with toilet water. Even the soup had a weird aftertaste the chicken wings were hard and had no meat on them mostly just bread. The soda was good tasting better than a liquor store machine. The salad bar was okay I was expecting better taste from some of the noodle salads had a blend aftertaste. The cheese toast was kind of burnt.

I thought it would give this place a shot since it had been over 30 years. I was pleasantly shocked at how amazing the food was next time I'm in Bakersfield I'm definitely going to go back! YUMMY 😋 Edited to add this review was for the Sizzler in Bakersfield.

I don't recommend- I went to Sizzler to celebrate my birthday with my sister and husband. First of all the salad bar was a mess and mostly empty, I had to pick through what was there. No wings, understandable, so we waited, once the fresh batch came out I got about 7 for me and my sister to share only to take a bite and see they were still bleeding. My husband ordered the bacon burger, the cashier asked if he wanted medium rare etc. He received his burger and took a bite the meat did not look like real meat, and the sear mark looked like it was painted on there. Needles to say I was so disappointed. The dessert bar was awful I did not get any. I did talk to the lady stocking the salad bar and told her the chicken was raw and it could make people sick, she took it back to the cook. Terrible place, I had a horrible experience, I felt robbed and did not enjoy my dinner.

Sizzler has done a delicious job with the salad bar, it is totally fresh ingredients and best flavor; very satisfying! The rest of the menu looks great as well, I can't wait to try their lobster! The place is fresh and clean feeling. I'm hooked!

I just cannot find myself coming back to Sizzler unless the world ends and it's the only place to eat... Customer service was up to par but the food prepared by the cooks was the worst thing that restaurant had to offer. I'm not sure what they call BBQ Ribs but they were so salty, they were inedible.. The steak was mid-rare when it was requested well done. Overall, they could do better... Place was clean though.

This location in fresno needs to learn from these sizzler's i mentioned on how to keep clean and how to have clean bowls and plates.

Salad bar is great. I ordered salmon that came under cooked. When I informed the waitress, she actually took my partially eaten salmon and brought my same salmon back. I would imagine this is a sanitary issue. Not a good first time impression of this place.

If I can give them a 0 I would First time here I asked for a steak cooked rare and they gave me a well done steak the manager said if I can remove my steak so he can give it back to the cook so I can get a rare but I still get a well done steak Like WT do they not know what's the difference between rare and well done and it took them 20 minutes to bring me the steak and my rice and shrimps were cold. I won't be coming here anymore I rather pay more at Harris Ranch and get what I ask for.
