Customer Review Summary
El Pescador offers great value for money with a relaxed atmosphere and good service. The restaurant features an outdoor area and a quieter side room, though it can get busy during peak times. Food portions are enormous, particularly the Molcajete and Burrito Campechana, perfect for sharing. While the horchata has been downsized, the overall food quality remains impressive. Service is generally good, with attentive staff and efficient order handling, although bussing could be improved. Prices are reasonable for the serving sizes, but there's a charge for desserts on birthdays, which isn't typical. The upscale decor alongside lively music creates a comfortable dining experience, ideal for seafood and Mexican food enthusiasts.

Great value for money. Afternoon happy hour till 3. Good food. They have an outdoors and quieter side room. It gets busy which could take a bit to get orders in, but once they are, service is quick.

After lunch happy hour this place slows down if you want a quick stop to eat & leave. If you prefer to socialize then come during weekly happy hours or weekends.

If you love Seafood, and Mexican food, come here!! The serving sizes are enormous ((even the kid's meals))! The Molcaqete is HUGE - I recommend sharing! It has crab legs, lobster, steak, chicken, cotija cheese, etc., with sides like tortillas, guacamole, beans, pico de gio, and vegetables in rice. The Burrito Campechana (al pastor and steak) the BIGGEST burrito I've ever seen...! The horchata comes in a smaller cup than I'm used to, but still good! ((The last time we were there, a couple of months ago, the cups were bigger. Not sure why the glasses are smaller now)). Service was good! They were very good at listening to requests and there was no confusion with the checks when paying 3 ways for a table of 15. Bussing could have been a little more efficient; they did get the large wooden tray holding the appetizers (oysters is what we got) before the main dishes come out, BUT we had too many empty cups just sitting on the table and in the way. The atmosphere was relaxed -- the decor feels very high-end, but the music and chatter of the busy restaurant helps everyone feel comfortable. The prices were actually pretty good compared to how enormous the servings were!

The only thing I did not like about this restaurant is they charge you for dessert on your birthday. This is the only restaurant I have ever experienced this at.

First time at El Pescador. The host sat us down pretty fast for a Thursday night. You have a choice between bar area or the dinning area. Great music & atmosphere. The waitress was very attentive to my friend and I. Drinks were brought out pretty fast & along with salsa and chips. They charge the 2nd round of chips of $2.50, before tax. I ordered the carne asada plate with rice & beans. Portions were good and the asada was cooked perfectly. If you don't like a crazy crowd, go on a Thursday! They only have Pepsi product sodas at this restaurant.

The food was delicious and the portions were ample, service was good there was a slight hiccup due to us showing up while server was at break but he made it right soon enough. The decor and large airy space was amazing and gave a sense of grandeur, those high ceilings.

El Pescador is great for seafood lovers. The restaurant offers a great selection of seafood dishes, and their cocktails are also fantastic. I recently had the grilled octopus while my wife enjoyed the fried fish, and we were both thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. The octopus was cooked to perfection and had a wonderful smoky flavor, while the fried fish was crispy and delicious. The service was also excellent, with friendly and attentive staff. The ambiance of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, making it a great spot for a date night or a family dinner. I highly recommend El Pescador for anyone looking for a delicious seafood meal in a great atmosphere.
