Black Horse Tavern & Grill

Took the family out to Black Horse for a meal where I thought it would be a lovely atmosphere. Instead the football game was blasting loud and everyone looked disappointed while watching the game. It was difficult to have a conversation because the TVs were so loud. We started with an order of Irish nachos which weren’t more than warm. I ordered the classic burger and when it was delivered everyone at the table thought the server said the plastic burger so that was pretty funny. It was incredibly salty and the cheese only covered half the patty. Others ordered the Caesar salad, the chicken sandwich, and the pork schnitzel which came with veggies. Nothing was hot and the veggies were cold, completely undercooked from whatever frozen state they started in. Overall it was a bit disappointing not to have a new place to go with the family as this was at a good midway point for everyone in the group coming from different cities. I would say this is a great place if you want to watch the football game and tune out. I saw kids laying in the booth playing on their iPads while parents enjoyed the game. It’s chill, no frills.

They were very helpful, polite, and flexible with the menu. I was on a strict diet, and they were able to accommodate my needs. The food itself was just pleasant, I know chicken and salmon can be challenging to cook. It was just a bit dry, but the flavors were very tasty. The atmosphere during lunch was nice, not too busy, luckily for us with only an hour. If you're in a rush, you might want to let them know. The food could take a while to get. Outside of that, everything was great. If I get a chance, I will be back to try a different plate.

My boyfriend ordered a Philly Cheese sandwich…now that was actually good! Overall, I won’t be going back.

Good food the spicy potato croquettes should definitely be on your order if you like potatoes and spicy and delicious food. The staff were friendly and the place was movin. I got the flank steak and potato croquettes with veggies and it was great.

I've been here about 3 times now & every experience has been a good one. Foods always been good, service has always been decent. Only thing I will say is their jalapeño margarita was NOT it for me, unfortunately. I like the atmosphere here and I'll definitely continue to come back.

Our first time here, very pleased! The staff is friendly and engaging. The drinks were good and the food was delicious! We had the Boneless Chicken Wings, the Turkey Bacon & Avocado Sandwich and the Buffalo Chicken Wrap. Highly recommended items. We will definitely come back!
