Gave an extra star because we do appreciate that the manager tried to accommodate us by allowing me to order off of the dinner menu. It was weird that the manager said the chef must have been in agpod mood and agreed to make it but ok? 🙄 I was really craving steak. This, however., is far from medium well. If you listen carefully you can hear it moo. We told our server, Nicole. She was very apologetic. She told the manager but he couldn't be bothered to come to our table (there were maybe two other tables dining, so he should have made the time). We wouldn't have accepted any form of comp, but it seems as though the manager would have made this a learning experience for the chef. An apology would have been nice. We eat out for every meal. This restaurant has so much potential but my husband will have to force me to go if he's craving Capers again. If they don't care if the meal is less than satisfactory we should give our $120 for lunch to a restaurant that does.

My wife was very happy with her meal. I enjoyed my food as well. The confetti dip was great. Happy wife happy life.

Not the same Capers I used to dine at . The shrimp and grits was soupy and was just barely warm. The turkey sandwich was okay , but just nothing special. The potatoes were a little bit too sharp tasting. There were only two other tables there when we arrived and it took them forever to take our order. The waitress was just a little bit too folksy saying things like alrighty. If you pay by credit card there is a surcharge. I promised my husband I would take him there. We won't go again.

Great little restaurant right off of Cantrell with fine dining, and so many delicious food items to choose from. The blackened chicken, Caesar salad was fantastic and the hot rolls they bring to the table was delicious. The service was a little scattered, and our food came an hour after we ordered it.

Historically, we have treated Capers as a special occasion place, but lately my wife and I have been going more frequently to share an app and entree as dinner. Food is always spot on, servers are friendly and remember you from visit to visit. My favorite app is the confetti dip. Favorite entree is the pork chop. The walleye is delicious, too. Chocolate crème brûlée for dessert. Oof! It’s also fun when the owner revives a banger menu from her gone-but-never-forgotten establishment, Cajun’s Wharf, down on the Arkansas River. We also love that the place is acoustically quiet enough to hear conversation from everyone at our table.10 out of 10.

Excellent food. Salmon and Caesar salad both 5/5. However, coleslaw was half the plate and it was average at best. Then, we are outside in the sun, which was a lovely atmosphere, but the coleslaw warmed up rather quickly and being that it was half the plate, it didn't really make sense with the other items on the dish, in my opinion. The service was EXCELLENT! The prices were very reasonable.

Capers is always an amazing experience. Very cozy, warm and welcoming. The service and food is always cooked to perfection. My husband and I have date night there occasionally. The pork chop is highly recommended.

Service was great! We ate at Capers for the first time on our 27th anniversary. Our crab cake appetizer was made and cooked well. The wife's steak was lovely, and I stole as many bites as she allowed. Unfortunately the fish & crits were a little dry and could have been better. The ambiance was welcoming by the fireplace. It was worth the drive.
