Amanda at Charleston’s in Mesa is the kind of server who makes dining out feel like an experience, not just a meal. From the start, she was warm, sharp, and somehow always there at the right moment without ever hovering. When she recommended the shrimp and cheese appetizer dish, she made it sound like we’d be making a huge mistake if we skipped it. She wasn’t wrong. It came out sizzling, perfectly cheesy, and downright addictive. The steak was spot on, medium, juicy, cut open to test it, and seared just right. Drinks never ran low, plates disappeared like magic, and the whole staff worked together so smoothly you could tell there was solid leadership behind the scenes. The service was so dialed in it felt effortless. Just when we thought we were too full for dessert, Amanda gave a pitch for the carrot cake. We gave in. Best decision of the night. If Charleston’s could clone her, they’d need a bigger building.

I met some friends here for dinner on a Monday night. The wait wasn't long at all. Our server was incredibly sweet and had a good sense of humor. My friends had raved about the food here - and I can see why! Delicious meal with good prices. I look forward to coming back to try more menu items.

Our server Sofia was the best! She was friendly and attentive. The food was a 10/10. Charleston's made my birthday dinner outstanding.

This is our 2nd year dining at Charlestons on New Years. Staff are very well trained and extremely accommodating. Food was excellent. The croissants you get with your salad alone would make me come back. They are so good!! I wish they served them in a basket for the whole table. Atmosphere and ambiance is dark but welcoming. Would definitely recommend.

We walked in on a weekday night and were seated immediately in the bar lounge area. After about 10 minutes of no one greeting us, we decided to move to the bar, which tends to get better service in my opinion. The bartender was quite pleasant and made us feel welcomed. I ordered the ribeye with a loaded baked potato and the steak was cooked perfect and had a lot of flavors of it. I really enjoyed my meal there. 4 stars because of the mishap in the beginning and my water glass having leftover lipstick on it. 😮💨

Charleston's is old school just the way I like it. Kinda like a TGI Fridays, but it's better. The chicken fried chicken and salmon entrees are great. I think they have the best artichoke-spinach dip in metro Phoenix. Burgers are great. Charcoal grilled and you can do medium rare to well done. My favorite is the hickory burger. Bartenders and wait staff are very friendly and efficient.

Very great romantic atmosphere for family events, date nights, anniversaries..etc. Ordered flatbread pizza (as appetizers) with filet and sirloin steaks. The steaks were a bit overcooked (you can taste a burnt flavor). Everything else (house salad, baked potatoes, and flatbread pizza) were amazing. Make sure to try the croissants as they are fluffy and delicious. Expect to pay around $50/person

Gluten friendly/gluten free menu available. Lettuce wrap option only for sandwiches and burgers. Several entree options available with meat: chicken, pork, ribs, steak, etc. I chose the ribs with baked beans and spaghetti squash and it was all OK. Ribs came cold and seemed to have more BBQ suace than meat. Spaghetti squash comes with Marinara that tastes like sugar, would have liked a different option I wanted a vegetable not a make shift pasta side. Baked beans were the best part. Husband got the pork and liked his dish, and enjoyed his baked potato and sugar snap peas. Reservation recommended for popular times and days.
